Holidaysplease Gives Google Glass to Customers has become the first company in the world to offer a pair of Google Glass glasses to its customers.

Holidaysplease has bought a number of pairs of glasses and will be offering them to a selection of customers who have reward points with Holidaysplease. The aim will be for our customers to use the glasses to take pictures and videos using the glasses while on holiday. They will then be posted on the Holidaysplease website.

The glasses will be returned after the holiday but the customer will be free to use the glasses as much as possible during their holiday. All Holidaysplease asks is that they comply with a responsible use policy which includes:-Google Glass Trial

– Not using the glasses to record nudity, content of a sexual nature, violence or other content likely to offend;

– Respecting the privacy of others and not filming people so as to make them readily identifiable unless with their permission;

– Not to use the glasses in places where people will not want to be filmed such as places of relative undress (beaches, pools, spas etc..) and other private areas such as toilets;

– Keeping the glasses safe at all times and ensuring that they have travel insurance to cover any loss or damage.

Commenting on the initiative Holidaysplease’s marketing director, Charles Duncombe said “We think that provided the glasses are used responsibly they will prove to be a tremendous addition to your holiday experience. You will be able to take photos/videos and even get live information on flight times, currency information, directions and translation services. I might even be able to use the glasses to sound like a local when travelling abroad. Then again….”
