Planning a trip to the Indian Ocean Isles?

The weather is slowly getting warmer in the UK but if you fancy a complete change then try jetting off to the Indian Ocean Islands. The choice of Maldives, Mauritius, Seychelles and Rodrigues may be difficult to choose from, but with as you hear more about each you are set to have picked one that you want to visit by the end of this year!

The Maldives are utterly breathtaking and have even been described as heaven on earth. The Maldives resorts are well known for their water villas and there are over a thousand small coral islands with beautiful white sandy beaches. Travel in style from the airport to your hotel in style, in a speedboat or a seaplane! Plenty of sea based activities will mean you can be as busy as you want to as there is always a great activity you can enjoy.

Mauritius is home to some of the most lavish hotels in the world. Mauritius is a tropical paradise with white sands, coral reefs, mountains and volcanic lakes. The geology has sheltered coves and shallow water lagoons, that give a great setting for a wonderful holiday.

A holiday in the Seychelles is one of the most exclusive destinations on the planet! There is fascinating wildlife to see like the giant tortoise and you can go on nature trails which go around the coast and further inland into the exotic forests.

Last but not least is the little island of Rodrigues. This is the most undeveloped of the four and is delightfully tranquil. A holiday here can be easily combined with a holiday in Mauritius giving you a taste of both islands. This island is ideal for nature enthusiasts who enjoy relaxing and the occasional bird watching or angling. This island is also perfect for hiking around where you will see fantastic plant species in an unspoilt beautiful island.

Does anyone have any preferences or are looking forward to jet setting to one of the destinations featured?
