Is Eruption of Eyjafjallajökull Volcano over?

Finally the volcano ash could be on its way after causing travel chaos over the past 2 months, British Meteorological office state that clear skies will be seen all week and that there is no ash cloud currently over Europe.

According to the Icelandic Meteorological Office the  Eyjafjallajökull Volcano appears dormant, however this can only be confirmed after 3 months of no further eruptions…experts are stating that this could be a ‘pause’ and the volcano ash may continue to erupt for the near future.

The fearce volcano also has a volcanic sister ‘Katla’ who after the last 3 Eyjafjallajökull eruptions has followed suit and is said to be much angrier which could therefore cause further problems for the travel industry.

The ban over the last couple of months has been called a ‘European Embarrasment’ by Giovanni Bisignani, director-general of International Air Transport Association due to the lack of organisation and the over cautious bans the air space closure has now caused.

Lets hope its the end of the Eyjafjallajokull’s fight, so that the flights can return to normal…however there is the worry that the sister ‘Katla’ will now awake!
