The Maldives are preparing to rebrand in a bid to increase their image and attract a wider market. A world wide campaign is being organised including a new logo, slogan and the launch of a new advertising campaign. With this region being heavily reliant on tourism it isn’t much of a surprise that they are trying to push it as much as they can. As the regions current main customers are honeymooners and the 25 – 40 year old segment, the region wants to capture the emerging niche markets.

The Maldives also want to present themselves as a destination with business and investment opportunities.
